The Valley Chronicle - Fraud Investigation

On Friday, October 29, 2021, the Riverside Coun_x0002_ty Sheriff’s Department Southwest Station served a fraud related search war_x0002_rant in the 24000 block of Leafwood Drive in Mur_x0002_rieta. The search warrant stemmed from credit cards which were stolen from a patient at the Temecula Val_x0002_ley Hospital.

The suspect, Isa_x0002_bel Valdez, a registered nurse for the Temecula Valley Hos_x0002_pital was arrested for theft by credit card, financial elder abuse, and identity theft. Is_x0002_abel Valdez was booked into the Cois M. Byrd Detention Center. Further investigation revealed she acted alone and the hospital was unaware of her actions.
