Derby’s Bar and Grill will be hosting a free show by the band “7Horse” for ages 21 and up on Saturday, Mar. 30 at 8 p.m. The event will be located at 2860 West Florida Avenue in Hemet. There will be food and drink specials and only General Admission seating will be available. Formed in 2011 by Phil Leavitt and longtime friend/musical partner Joie Calio, both from the band Dada, 7Horse has blazed their own trail across three well-reviewed albums: Let the 7Horse Run (2011), Songs for a Voodoo Wedding (2014), Livin’ in a B--ch of a World (2016) and most recently Superfecta (2018). Along the way, their raw catalog of “dark, sexual rock and roll” has racked up over 13.5 million streams on Spotify and been featured across TV shows (Amazon’s The Grand Tour, the NFL playoffs on Fox), video games (Far Cry 5) and one very, very big movie — The Wolf of Wall Street, which showcased the band’s left-of-center hit “Meth Lab Zoso Sticker.”[/caption]
